Fished near the bridge last night opposite the gypo house in what i think will become peg one after boni very kindly did some weed racking and swim prep and managed two fish.

Another stonking bream that put up quite a fight of 8lb and a Barbel of 12.8lb which killed the swim but im not suprised as it tore through all over the place.

Hi Glyn

I have not done days as I am not really able to. But judging from the knock and kicks i get on the rod tips I assume that there are fish to be caught during the day. I am fishing heavy tactics for the barbell with large baits to avoid the smaller fish.

I would expect if you were to fish lighter tactics maybe on a quiver tip you would manage bites no problem.

As for roach you can only assume that the quality of the fish that have been caught will be reflected right through the whole spectrum of species.

There are plenty of people still fishing this water that are not members that we are kicking off at the moment, these guys are fishing days and must be catching to want to keep coming down.

Mark has starting cutting some nice swims out that take you right off the main path, we will get some more done so it just a matter of picking some spots and having a go, if you fancy a certain spot let me know and we will do that one for you.

Tight Lines

Tim
